　　Jiujiang Tanbre's Smeltery, located Jiujiang city, JiangXiProvince, P.R.China, and the company is at the foot of beautiful LushangMountain, facing the YangziRiver, nearby the Boyang lake. The waterway, land route, railway, and airway come to a convenient communication net.

　History:

　　Jiujiang Tanbre's Smeltery were planned and programmed at the end of 1960's, and established in 1970s' and specialized for processing Ta, Nb ores and the Rare earth in Jiangxi area. Since 1981 in operation, our processing technique is in constant improvement and steadily procession. Now we can currently supply above thirty kind of products of Tantalum, Niobium and Rare earth to the market.

　　Jiujiang Tanbre's Smeltery is one of the factories that belong to China MinmetalsCorporation. The same time she is one of the members of Tantalum-Niobium International Study Center (TIC).

　Capacity and Resources

　　Our plant can process above 1000MT Tantalite, Columbite and Striverite per year. Our annual capacity are following, 200 tons of Tantalum Oxide, 20 tons of Tantalum metal powder, 20MT of Tantalum Metal; 300MT of Niobium Oxide, 20MT of Nb Metal per year. YiChun Tantalum and Niobium Mines is the biggest Ta and Nb mines of China, also it is one of members of China Minerals Corporation, it is an important supplier of Jiujiang.

　Instruments and Analysis

　　Being one of the supplier in China, we have been equipped with advanced smelting facilities and inspection and analysis instruments, such as ICP (Made in Franc); Plane Grating Spectrometer (Made in German); Size Analysis instrument (Made in Japan) , High Vacuum furnace (Made in Japan), and ICP-MS(Made in Japan).

About 70% of products export to oversea, such as U.S.A.; Europe; Japan; Korea etc developed country.

　Scientific research and development
　　Some products like high-purity Tantalum Niobium and Tantalum Carbide have been awarded the Excellent-Quality-Product’ by the General Government.

　　Now, our plant applies them to develop new products used in high-tech and special type material. Super high-purity Tantalum Pentoxide and Super high-purity Niobium Pentoxide will be put on the market in October 2002; our plant can steadily produce Capacitor Grade Tantalum Powder (CV 30k); our plant start new product line of Capacitor grade Tantalum wire and will be put into production in 2005; and also we start develop the capacitor grade niobium powder.
